In 2015 the Kingston Regional Heritage Fair will be hosting two workshops to assist students planning their Young Citizens project.The first workshop "Historical Story Telling" will be held at the Pump House Steam Museum on Saturday, March 7th. This workshop will help students identify how to tell a story about a historical event and aid them in developing their Young Citizen project.The second workshop "Film Lab", in partnership with the Kingston Canadian Film Festival, will be held on Saturday, April 11th. This workshop will assist students with the technical know how of taking their story from concept to finished video.Participation will be limited to 30 students for each workshops and pre-registration will be required. While the "Historical Telling Workshop" will be open to any interested student, students must be registered with Young Citizens prior to the "Film Lab" workshop.Check back in early 2015 for further deatils and workshops registration form.
