Heather Montague, Chair of the 2016 Kingston Regional Heritage Fair, recently accepted a cheque from His Worship, Mayor Bryan Paterson. The KRHF is grateful to be the recipient of two grants from the City of Kingston Heritage Fund. The first is an Heritage Investment Operating Grant and the second is a Sesquicentennial Project Grant.The Heritage Investment Operating Grant will help the Kingston Regional Heritage Fair provide excellent heritage programming for local students at its Annual Heritage Fair on May 12, 2016 at McArthur Hall, Queen's University.The Sesquicentennial Project Grant will be used to create an uniquely Kingston video program. Two Claymation workshops will be provided for local students by expert Kathy Shultz in conjuction with the Kingston Canadian Film Festival in 2016 and 2017. These workshops will be followed by workshops in Historical Storytelling and Technical Support for Creating Videos.
