This workshop, hosted by Pump House Stem Musuem, will guide students interested in participating in the Young Citrizens program through the process of telling a story from a historical perspective. That history can be a personal / family story, or one of local, provincial or national importance.
Registration is open to any student interested in story telling.
Effective communication of history is really just good story telling. In this half-day workshop, explore the ways we tease out the threads of stories from the objects, places, and people involved. Led by a group of local museum professionals, students will develop their skills of storytelling in order to create effective and captivating videos for their Young Citizen projects.
Participation is FREE and limited to 30 students. Registration is on a first-come, first served basis.
